Malevolence are one of the UK’s finest exports proving that metal isn’t actually dead after having sold out every show on their UK tour before it had even begun. They did this by not just releasing straight up bangers but by being incredibly consistent with their live performances, they were incredible. While I was shooting in the photo pit, crowd surfers were coming over every couple of seconds and going off a video the promoter posted, the entire bottom level of the O2 Institute Birmingham was in motion. That’s super impressive stuff.
